The Beige Armchair Edit (And How I’d Style Them)

Armchairs are one of my favourite furniture pieces to source for my clients — generally speaking, you can experiment more with shape and texture than you would with your sofa and the perfect armchair can be the focal point or design element that elevates a living room, bedroom, home office or seating area.

Below are three of my favourite beige armchair options right now, along with how I’d style them in different interior spaces.

Elio — MCM House

I chose the Elio Modular Sofa from MCM House for my own place because it has the perfect block shape that I was looking for. The Bone colour is also really nice and soft + looks great with timber flooring and natural colour sheer curtains. This armless slipper chair version is an oversized one-seater that‘s just as comfortable and luxurious.

Details I love:

  • Relaxed block shape

  • Removable covers

  • Oversized

Cantaloupe — Papaya

I’m always drawn to this Cantaloupe Armchair when browsing armchairs — probably because a timber and linen combo is my go-to material combination. This armchair design is relatively new but has become a bit of a classic because of its modern coastal look that suits Australian homes so well.

Details I love:

  • Low-line

  • Customisable

  • Eye-catching

Bae — Life Interiors

The Bae Armchair is my favourite beige armchair option right now for bedroom or home office corners. It’s pretty compact in size which is also great for apartments as well. The curved shape is contemporary and a swivel function is always a plus for ultimate functionality.

More details I love:

  • Swivel foot

  • Curved shape

  • Super minimal
